Clipboard features

The Windows Clipboard isn't just for GUI applications. Using PSCX's clipboard features, you can manipulate the clipboard from the command line.
  • Get-Clipboard - Gets data from the clipboard.
  • Out-Clipboard - Formats text via Out-String before placing in clipboard.
  • Set-Clipboard - Puts the specified object into the system clipboard.
  • Write-Clipboard - Writes objects to the clipboard using their string representation, bypassing the default PowerShell formatting.

Examples:

dir | out-clipboard # Stores directory listing on the clipboard
