List of cmdlets on CodePlex

description

This may be a silly gripe, but what the heck.

I'd like to suggest that someone place a list of cmdlets and other PSCX goodness on the 'Documentation' page of the CodePlex website. That will (hopefully) accomplish two things:
  1. Puts all those cmdlets into search engines like Bing, Google and so on. Bringing more people here to get PSCX!
  2. Lets people evaluate why they might want to download/install PSCX. Right now the PSCX pages on CodePlex do not make that very clear.
Thanks for considering.

cashfoley, thank you.

My point is that we shouldn't have to install pscx in order to learn whether it contains something we might find useful. That leads to all kinds of sloppiness. Imagine a world of 'these ten programs don't say what they do. I'll install them to find out!'

The link on the download page called about_Pscx.help.txt has this information.

I agree. The "documentation" section should feature at least the output of Get-Command -Module pscx, if not the output of Get-Help for each command.
