Error running installed profile for PSCX

I get the following error when running the installed PSCX profile when I start Powershell. What do I need to install or what do I need to comment out to fix this problem. I do not have Visual Studio installed. It looks like that is what the problem is. Can I use the Powershell Community Extensions if it is not installed? I did not see it as a requirement.
Error below:

Get-ItemProperty : Cannot find path 'HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0' because it does not exist.
At C:\Program Files\PowerShell Community Extensions\Profile\Environment.VisualStudio2005.ps1:33 char:36
+ $VisualStudioKey = get-itemproperty <<<< $regKeyPath

Open up your PSCX Profile (execute "ep") and comment out this like so:

    1. . '.\Environment.VisualStudio2005.ps1'

I'll enter this as a bug. The actual fix will probably be to change Environment.VisualStudio2005.ps1 line 33 to this:

$VisualStudioKey = get-itemproperty $regKeyPath -ea SilentlyContinue
